Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been handed another injury boost this week with striker Timo Werner returning to training following a hamstring problem.
Werner hasn’t played for the Blues since his injury in Chelsea’s 4-0 Champions League victory over Malmo. He has missed Chelsea’s last 5 games in all competitions since the injury.
Werner trained with the team on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s Premier League game against Leicester City.
Blues stars Marcos Alonso and Mason Mount were also seen training on Thursday after their respective injury and dental setbacks, though there was no sign of Mateo Kovacic who has been out for nearly three weeks with a hamstring issue.
