Since taking over the club in 2003, Blues owner Roman Abramovich has been fully involved and supportive.

It’s very clear that Roman Abramovich is passionate about the club and isn’t like other owners who are only just interested in the money.

Speaking ahead of Roman Abramovich’s return to Stamford Bridge for the Champions League clash against Juventus on Tuesday, Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has hailed the Russian and his passion for the game and the club.

“First and most important he’s a huge football fan,” Tuchel stated.

“He is in love with the game, he is in love with the details and he wants to know everything about it and about what’s going on here in Cobham.

“We keep him informed because of his genuine interesting and genuine love for the game. He wants to be entertained, he wants to be competitive and he wants to have the right attitude on the pitch and this is what he created here. We are blessed to enjoy our time here in this club and to keep on progressing.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
