Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has admitted that Swedish side Malmo have nothing to lose in this evening’s Premier League clash against Malmo at the Eleda Stadion.

Malmo are bottom of the group and are yet to get a single point, but Tuchel isn’t expecting an easy game nevertheless.

“Matches in the Champions League are about details,” Tuchel admitted.

“Malmo have nothing to lose. They can play with a lot of freedom, and a lot of courage in front of an emotional crowd. These are the things we have to face.

“It is the fifth or sixth game in a row where we are considered as favourites. I have liked a lot how my team approached these matches. We have put in a lot of effort and intensity, and proved our point on the pitch. That is absolutely necessary again.

“You can say Malmo need an extraordinary performance, and they will absolutely prepare for this,” added Tuchel.

“Any team at this kind of level is ready to create an extraordinary performance. We should be prepared and we should be respectful enough towards the game and towards the opponent. Anything can happen.”
