“Tuchel used Chelsea player wrongly against Man Utd” – Jody Morris claims

Following Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United, former Chelsea assistant manager Jody Morris has claimed Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel used Christian Pulisic wrongly against Manchester United.

Pulisic came off the bench as the Blues chased for a winner with Tuchel playing the American international as a right wing-back.

Morris was surprised Pulisic was played as a wing-back with Chelsea pushing for a goal and believes the American should have been played in the front three due to his ability to score goals.

Morris said: “I was a little surprised he came on as a wing-back because when you were looking for a goal, if there is anyone who’s going to get you a little tap-in in the six-yard box when there’s crosses coming in – not only are you bringing on Lukaku – I felt Pulisic could maybe have been one of those who could’ve been closer to the goal rather than at wing-back.”
