Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is in the final year of his contract with Chelsea, and so far both parties are yet to reach an agreement.

From January, Rudiger will be allowed to talk to other clubs, and reports claim he’s wanted by a host of clubs including German champions Bayern Munich.

Former German international Dietmar Hamann has told Rudiger to remain at Chelsea and that he may not do so well at Bayern.

“I don’t see any reason why he should leave Chelsea; he did ok in Germany early in his career, but he’s become a much better player since moving abroad,” Didi Hamann told Metro.co.uk via FreeSuperTips.

“I think he’s getting a lot better with his game, but I don’t think he’ll be an option for Bayern Munich.

“I don’t see Rudiger at Bayern Munich I’ve got to say, but if he’s available on a free then there will be a lot of clubs interested.

“He suits the way Chelsea play and I think he’ll stay at the club.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
