“We don’t want this Chelsea player” – Real Madrid fans insist

Spanish side Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger as a free agent next summer but fans of the Spanish club have reacted by saying they don’t want to him.

Rudiger’s Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season and the German international has stalled on extending his contract due to disagreements over wages being offered by Chelsea.

Rudiger, who is on a £100,000-a-week contract, wants his Chelsea wages doubled but the Blues are offering him a £140,000-a-week contract.

Real Madrid fans believe Rudiger is only suited to playing in a back three while others believe they are currently well stacked in that position, with David Alaba and Eder Militao forming a great centre-back combination.

Here are the reactions of Real Madrid fans to reports linking the Spanish side to Rudiger:

@KennaOtum tweeted: “Sighhh.. we dont need him.”

@sheluvchico tweeted: “no man bring my guy wesley fofana in.”

@HazardBunda tweeted: “Why do we need a center back who wants to be a starter. We have Alaba – Militao, we need a backup one.”

@sr4gio_ramos tweeted: “System player”
