Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has hailed Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi for his brilliant performance in Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday.
Chelsea returned to winning ways in the Premier League with victory over Aston Villa after back-to-back draws in the top division.
Hudson-Odoi won the penalty for Chelsea’s first goal which Jorginho converted and he also delivered a brilliant cross for Romelu Lukaku’s goal.
Fabregas sent a message to Hudson-Odoi on Instagram following the game against Aston Villa.
Fabregas wrote: “Well played big man.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel praised Hudson-Odoi for his performance against Aston Villa.
Tuchel said: “I think he was brilliant today and we forced him. Normally it was clear that he plays one half to a maximum of 60 minutes. This was already more than any recommendation from fitness department but he was strong in training so I wanted to have him on the pitch.
“Hakim Ziyech had only one training session, Callum had at least two and a half, so we decided to put him in and he was involved.
“He overcame some obstacles today and some adversity. That was a big game, a very important game from him. We took a kind of a risk here because he just came back from Covid.”
