According to French media outlet L’Equipe, Chelsea are planning to raid Paris Saint-Germain for French defender Presnel Kimpembe as a potential replacement for Antonio Rudiger.
Rudiger’s Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season and the German international is yet to extend his Chelsea contract.
Rudiger is reportedly eyeing a move to Spanish side Real Madrid when his Chelsea contract expires when the Blues are ready to sign Kimpembe if Rudiger leaves Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea currently have Thiago Silva, Kimpembe’s former defensive partner at PSG, and he could help convince the defender to make the move to London.
Meanwhile, a previous report has claimed the PSG defender could be ‘tempted’ by a move to Chelsea to reunite with Thomas Tuchel.
