Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen is here with his prediction for match week 16, and Chelsea play host to Leeds United on Saturday afternoon.

Owen had predicted that Chelsea would beat West Ham in our last league game, but the Blues were beaten 3-2 despite having taken the lead twice.

Speaking ahead of this weekend’s games, Owen admitted his surprise that Chelsea lost to the Hammers, but backed the Blues to bounce back with a win against Leeds.

“I didn’t see that defeat to West Ham coming for Chelsea,” Owen told BetVictor.

“To have led twice and come away from the game with nothing is very unlike Chelsea, as was the nature of the goals.

“Leeds struck late to get that equaliser against Brentford, but I do think they deserved it. They’ve got some tough fixtures ahead though, so that point is valuable.

“I expect to see a response from Chelsea here. This looks a good matchup, and I can see them winning 2-0.”
