Chelsea have scored the second most goals in the Premier League this season, as the Blues have already scored 33 goals in 14 games. Only Liverpool have scored more goals than Chelsea in the Premier League this season, with 43 goals.

For all of Chelsea’s goals scored this season, it’s right wing-back Reece James who has scored the most goals, as the Chelsea goals have been evenly spread around the entire team.

Chelsea star Christian Pulisic has hailed the form of Reece James and believes that the 22-year-old has what it takes to be the team’s scorer at the end of the season.

“Absolutely we’re all impressed. What he can do on the field is pretty special,” admitted Pulisic, who also featured yesterday.

“He’s got so much ability, so many different ways to help the team. The sky is the limit for him.

“Honestly, the way he is playing right now and the way he strikes the ball, I wouldn’t be surprised (if he stayed top scorer).

“That’s what’s great about our system – it allows him to attack a lot.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel confirmed in his press conference on Friday that Reece James was back in training for the game against West Ham.

Tuchel said: “Jorginho, Timo Werner and Reece James are training and available.

“It’s important to have Reece and Jorgi back.

“Reece is the specialist on the side.”
