The Blues remain interested in signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland despite signing Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan for a club record fee.
Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc has confirmed Haaland has a release clause which Chelsea must meet if the Blues want the striker.
He said: “The fact is that he has a contract.
“But it’s also a fact, and this is no secret, that he can leave the club under certain conditions.”
Haaland has a release clause of between £68-£75million in his contract which becomes active at the end of the season.
