It wasn’t an easy game at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea managed to beat Leeds United 3-2, with Jorginho converting two penalty kicks to help the team to an all important victory.

With Liverpool and Manchester City also getting a victory today, it was important Chelsea got a win to keep up with the teams above.

Mendy: Made a good save to stop Raphinha’s free kick from going in, in the first half. Also made a good save to deny the Brazilian after the break. Couldn’t do much about the goals he scored. 6/10

Reece James: Energetic performance. Booked for a wild challenge on Firpo in the first half. Managed the situation afterwards. 7/10

Azpilicueta: Did okay in the right side of the back three, but got tired towards the end of the game. 6/10

Thiago Silva: Cool and comfortable in the centre of the back three as usual. 7/10

Rudiger: Rugged at the back, and did well to help his team win two penalties. 7.5/10

Alonso: Had a poor game as he conceded an unnecessary penalty. Seemed slow at times and off the pace. 5/10

Jorginho: Strong mentality to convert two penalty kicks as he helped Chelsea win the game. 8/10

Loftus-Cheek: Had a couple of good runs with the ball, but there is still a bit more lacking in his game. 7/10

Mount: Helped his team defensively and scored a very important goal to help Chelsea win the game. 7/10

Werner: Lacked service but put in an energetic display. 6/10

Kai Havertz: Lacked service upfront and didn’t seem to do too much. 6/10

Subs

Hudson-Odoi: Brought energy after coming on for Werner. 6/10

Christensen: Did okay at the back after replacing Azpilicueta. 6/10

Lukaku: Very late sub.
