According to The Independent via Metro, Premier League rivals Manchester United have registered their interest in signing Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger.
The German international is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer if he fails to agree a new deal.
However, the report adds that Rudiger, 28, would prefer to leave the Premier League altogether rather than join one of Chelsea’s rivals.
Meanwhile, Spanish side Real Madrid have reportedly reached an informal agreement to sign Rudiger as a free agent after holding talks with his brother and agent Sahr Senesie.
Senesie has also met with Bayern Munich to discuss the possibility of a return to the Bundesliga.
