Chelsea were stunned at the London Stadium as the Blues were beaten 3-2 by West Ham.

Speaking after the game, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel revealed that the team made a lot of mistakes and it cost Chelsea the victory.

Let’s see who had a good game and bad game today.

Mendy: Uncharacteristic performance from the Senegalese. In as much as Jorginho will be blamed for a back pass, Mendy had all the time to clear out the ball. He would also be blamed for shipping in Arthur Masuaku’s cross.
Verdict: Poor performance. 4/10

Reece James: Put in a fine first half display, and had a good game.
Verdict: Good performance but slowed down in the second half. 7/10

Christensen: Did okay at the back but will be disappointed Bowen’s shot found a way through his legs.
Verdict: Decent performance. 6/10

Thiago Silva: Top performance yet again. Good composure at the back and a stunning clearance shortly after heading in the first goal.

Verdict: Class act. 7.5/10

Rudiger: Had one of those his mazy runs but it didn’t lead to a goal, unfortunately. Fine performance.
Verdict given: Rugged as usual. 7/10

Alonso: Slow at times, did okay going forward but his defensive contribution was suspect.
Verdict given: Not showing enough to replace Ben Chilwell. 5/10

Jorginho: Booked unnecessarily for dissent and then put Mendy under awful pressure with a poor back pass that led to a penalty kick.
Verdict given: Awful perfomance. 4/10

Loftus-Cheek: Used his strength really well and made some good runs forward.
Verdict: Did well, but must learn to be creative in the final third. 6.5/10

Mount: Had a good game and would be disappointed to lose the match after his fine strike.
Verdict: Top performance. 8/10

Ziyech: His assist for Mount’s goal was top notch. Had a good game but lost steam afterwards.
Verdict: Okay performance. 6.5/10

Kai Havertz: Had a fine chance in the first half but headed straight at Fabianski. Subbed off at half-time.
Verdict: Did okay in the short time frame. 6/10

Lukaku: Came on for Havertz. But looked far from his best.
Verdict: Still far from being match fit. 5/10

Hudson-Odoi: Couldn’t penetrate the West Ham defence after replacing Ziyech.
Verdict: Plain average performance. 5/10

Pulisic: Didn’t do much after replacing Alonso.
Verdict: Anonymous performance. 5/10
