Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has bemoaned his side’s situation ahead of the Premier League meeting with Wolves at the Molineux Stadium on Sunday.

Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell are currently isolating after testing positive for Covid-19.

Mateo Kovacic has only just returned to the squad after being out due to injury and Covid-19, N’Golo Kante only just returned from injury and is lacking match fitness as well, and Jorginho and also Ruben Loftus-Cheek are currently in pains.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has bemoaned his lack of options ahead of the game with Wolves.

“We have Jorginho as a doubt again because he is in pain, we have Loftus-Cheek a doubt because he is in pain,” Tuchel told a press conference on Friday.

“Do we know if they can travel with us tomorrow? No I don’t know if it is possible if they can play on Sunday. I don’t know.

“Maybe we start with N’Golo and Mateo. Would that be possible, would that be fair? I don’t know, maybe we do, because who else?”
