According to reports, Chelsea may look to offload three first-team players this month to raise funds for Thomas Tuchel to strengthen his squad.
The Blues have lost steam in the title race in recent weeks and are now 11 points behind Manchester City ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game against Liverpool.
Chelsea stars Ross Barkley, Hakim Ziyech and Ruben Loftus-Cheek could all be sold in January to raise transfer funds for Tuchel, according to Football London.
Barkley has 18 months left on his Chelsea contract and has failed to convince Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel this season when given opportunities.
Since joining Chelsea from Ajax, Ziyech has failed to consistently deliver the performances he showed at Ajax. While he’s unplayable on his day, he has failed to show that on a consistent basis.
Loftus-Cheek is a surprise name on the list given he has forced his way into the team this season when he was expected to leave the club on loan last summer.
