Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara has warned the Blues that the Premier League title race is over following Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

The draw against Liverpool on Sunday means the Blues are now ten points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City after 21 games played.

According to O’Hara, Manchester City are dominanting the Premier League and are too good to drop ten points and let Chelsea back in the title race.

“They’re not going to drop ten points. You’re joking, aren’t you? They’re dominating the league and they’re dominating everyone. It’s over. It’s well and truly over,” O’Hara talkSPORT.

“Liverpool had to win that game. They’re conceding too many goals. Chelsea are conceding too many goals.”

Chelsea struggled terribly in the month of December due to injuries and Covid-19 hitting the squad. We entered the month of December as Premier League leaders and are now ten points behind Manchester City.

Thomas Tuchel has built his Chelsea team on being solid defensively and that was crucial as we won the Champions League last season and led the Premier League title race earlier this season but we have struggled defensively since the end of November, keeping just one clean sheet in our last nine Premier League games.

Meanwhile, former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell believes Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was wrong to leave out Romelu Lukaku for Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

“I understand Thomas Tuchel has to show his power,” Campbell told Sky Sports News.

“But if you are all of a sudden going to leave your star striker out, you are cutting your nose off to spite your face a little bit.

“You need all your weapons. Look at Manchester City, they are 11 points clear. This is your next biggest rival who you have to beat at home and you are possibly leaving your star striker out.

“It’s not right. You have got to play him.”
