Antonio Conte achieved major success in his two years at Chelsea, as he won the Premier League in his first year and the FA Cup the following year.
However, it’s not looking like the Italian will be able to revive the Tottenham team after being appointed as Spurs boss.
Conte who has a knack for winning everywhere he goes, has said that it would be unfair to compare Chelsea and Tottenham, after suffering a 1-0 loss on Wednesday.
Conte said: “I think that in this moment we can’t compare the two situations, the Chelsea situation and the Tottenham situation. I think it’s not fair to compare the two situations, because it’s impossible to compare.”
Conte was pleased with his team’s second half showing against Chelsea as he hailed his side’s second half display in the 1-0 for the Blues.
“I think the performance was much better than the performance in the first leg,” continued the 52-year-old.
“The first half we struggled a bit, especially the way we tried to bring pressure without the ball.
“I think in the second half, the performance was good, the intensity was high and I think honestly that we deserved a better final result today.”
