Mendy: Beaten at the near post for Salah’s goal, and couldn’t do much for Mane’s opening goal. Brilliant performance, especially in the second half were he pulled some world-class saves. 8/10
Azpilicueta: Good game for the Spaniard. Started out as a right wing-back, and the 32-year-old did a good job bumping up and down the right flank. 7.5/10
Chalobah: Made some mistakes that cost the team in the first half, and one led to Mane’s opening goal. Did very well in the second period before getting subbed off. 6/10
Thiago Silva: Comfortable display in the centre of the back three. Was solid defensively, and played some beautiful passes forward. 8/10
Rudiger: Was beaten in the buildup to Mohamed Salah’s goal. Atoned for his mistake with an interception that led to Pulisic’s equalising goal. Generally did well against Salah. 7.5/10
Alonso: Went missing for Salah’s goal, but had a good game after that. Did well going forward. 7/10
Kante: Definitely one of the best players on the pitch. Was all over the place as he played with so much intensity and hard work. His run and pass for Christian Pulisic’s goal was brilliant. 9/10
Kovacic: Brilliant performance, brilliant goal. Was extraordinary in the middle of the park, sleek on the ball and his goal was pure class which gave Chelsea momentum to come back and level the scores. 9/10
Mount: Worked hard for his side and should have gotten a goal. Got into some good attacking positions. 7/10
Pulisic: Tried to round Kelleher early in the game, but it didn’t work. Had a top performance, and his goal was as well beautiful. 8/10
Havertz: Played the central role and won the free kick that led to Kovacic’s leveller. But didn’t do much all game. 6/10
Jorginho: Was brought in to control the midfield in the 68th minute. Didn’t seem to do much. 5/10
Hudson-Odoi: Late sub for Havertz.
