Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel dropped Romelu Lukaku for Sunday’s clash against Liverpool following his controversial interview with Sky Italia, where he seemed to have criticised the manager and the club and also show loyalty to former side Inter Milan.

Following his decision to drop Lukaku, Tuchel had revealed that there’d be a meeting with the Belgian on Monday where everything would be trashed out.

The meeting has taken place, and according to Sky Sports, there’s no chance Lukaku would be leaving Chelsea.

Sky Sports report that there’s also a ‘commitment from all parties’ for Lukaku to let ‘his football do the talking’.

Lukaku himself is believed to have recognised his mistake in doing the interview, and it seems all is now fine between player and manager.

It’s yet to be seen if there’ll be a fine for the Belgian after the incident.
