It’s hard to tell Thomas Tuchel’s best frontline, as the Blues boss has often chopped his attacking players every other week.

Blessed with a rich attack, the Blues boss is yet to discover his best attacking trio, as we’ve seen Lukaku being paired with the likes of Timo Werner, Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

However, football journalist Matt Law has revealed that the Chelsea man is more keen on being paired with Kai Havertz. Lukaku formed a formidable partnership with Lautaro Martinez during his time at Inter Milan, and Law has claimed that the Belgian is keen on playing with Kai Havertz — a partnership we are yet to see often, since the signing of the £97.5m man.

“I get the impression, and this is from a little bit of information and a little bit of guess work, that if you asked Lukaku who would you play with, he’d say Kai Havertz,” explained Law.

Do you think Lukaku and Havertz will do well together upfront?
