Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is in the final year of his contract with the club, and it’s yet to be seen whether the Germany international will renew his contract or leave for free at the end of the season.
The likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are believed to be interested in signing up the German for free at the end of the season.
However, Rudiger has now revealed that his reps are in talks with Chelsea and all other things are speculation.
“Like always, I’m fully committed to the cause,” the Germany international told Sky Sports.
“Talks are between my side and the club, and that’s everything you need to know.
“I owe it to everyone here around the club, the coach, my teammates and my family so that’s why I’m only focused on the important things.
“The other things are speculation – I cannot say anything about that.”
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel also gave update on Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger who’s in the final year of his contract, and the Blues boss insisted that negotiations are ongoing between the club and his representatives.
The gaffer said: “I have said many times how important he is. The talks and negotiations are ongoing so there is no news.”
