Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley has been linked with a January exit from the club, with Everton and Leeds United linked with the signature of the Blues midfielder.
Barkley has had limited playing time at Chelsea this season, and was even frozen out of the first team at the start of the season.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has said that he hasn’t discussed an exit yet with Barkley, and hinted that he could feature in the FA Cup third round clash against Chesterfield.
“We haven’t discussed it yet. It depends on what Ross wants and what possibilities they are, if they are any. Let’s see,” Tuchel said when asked whether Barkley could be set for the exit door this January.
“There’s always a chance to make it into the squad, the team and onto the pitch.
“The situation has not changed. We will make a decision later [on him starting against Chesterfield in the FA Cup].”
