According to The Sun via Daily Mail, French side PSG are lining up a shock swoop for Conor Gallagher with Mauricio Pochettino a keen admirer of the Chelsea star amid his impressive displays at Crystal Palace.
Gallagher, 21, has been one of Patrick Vieira’s stand-out performers at Selhurst Park this campaign, contributing six goals and three assists in 18 appearances for the Eagles.
PSG believe Chelsea would be willing to sell Gallagher if an offer of £50million is submitted for the midfielder.
PSG will reportedly want to sign Gallagher in January but are reportedly ready to wait until the end of the season due to the terms of his loan deal with Crystal Palace.
Gallagher’s spell at Selhurst Park is his fourth loan move away from the Blues in his short career, having previously played for West Brom, Swansea and Charlton.
Gallagher has previously said he intends to return to Stamford Bridge to challenge N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho for a place in Tuchel’s midfield.
