Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour has been out on loan with Norwich City since the start of the season, and it has been an eventful season so far for the 20 year old.

Gilmour’s loan spell has been very eventful as his first manager at Norwich Daniel Farke was axed midway through the campaign, and Farke surprisingly left Gilmour on the bench frequently before his dismissal.

Gilmour was also recently criticised by his loan fans, as fans of Norwich City voiced their displeasure towards the midfielder by chanting “f*** off back to Chelsea” during their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed that the young midfielder is back at the club due to injury, and his future will also be looked into.

Tuchel said: “We are checking his injury. He’s our player so he’s back here to have the best examinations so we can find out about the situation.

“Then we can decide together with him and with Norwich what’s going on. We had no talks yet over whether he stays or not.”
