Conor Gallagher is having a phenomenal season on loan with Crystal Palace, and the 21-year-old has already caught the interest of Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.
With 7 goals and 4 assists in all competitions this season, Gallagher has been hailed as a major goal threat, and the young midfielder can come up with a goal in the big games.
Meanwhile, journalist Paul Brown has hailed Gallagher as a better player than the more experienced Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Loftus-Cheek and Barkley have racked up 32 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea in the current campaign. While Gallagher has been involved in 11 goal contributions, Loftus-Cheek and Barkley have been involved in 3, with none coming from the former Everton man.
For Paul Brown, Conor Gallagher is just a better midfielder.
He told GiveMeSport: “They haven’t played a lot together this season for one reason or another between COVID and injuries, and there’s been a lot of time for people like Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley to get in there and try and make an impact. And Conor Gallagher’s already better than both of them.”
