Chelsea reject Crystal Palace Conor Gallagher request

Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher has been in massive form for Crystal Palace, and the 22-year-old has been one of Palace’s best players.

Patrick Vieira’s side are on a fantastic run of form, winning four of their last five matches.

Chelsea and Palace will face each other in the FA Cup semi-final this month, and the Eagles have requested permission to play the Chelsea midfielder against his parent club.

Chelsea permitted Derby County back in 2018 to allow them to use loanees Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori against the Stamford Bridge club in the Carabao Cup

The Eagles had hoped to receive same favours from Chelsea, but their proposal has been rejected by the club ahead of the FA Cup semi-final clash.

Gallagher has been the engine room of the Palace team, and the Blues will definitely not want to give their rivals any favours at the expense of Chelsea winning the competition which they missed out on in the final last year.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
