Nemanja Matic has announced his decision to leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old Serbian is at the night-time of his playing career, and would definitely be announcing his retirement in a few years time.

After a stellar career at Chelsea where he won two Premier League titles, Matic moved to Manchester United in 2017.

Matic believed he was going to win trophies at the time, as he said:

“This is a very exciting time for the club and I am looking forward to playing my part in creating more history for this great club.. I have enjoyed my time at Chelsea and would like to thank the club and the fans for their support.”

Well, Matic has won nothing at Manchester United. His only achievement was winning the Manchester United Goal of the Season 2017-18.

He’s a former Blue who did well with us during the peak of his career. We wish him well.
