We are now at the end of the 2021-22 season, and after a week of rest, the players will be involved in international games with their respective countries.
Chelsea trio of Mason Mount, Reece James and Conor Gallagher have been called up by Gareth Southgate for England’s upcoming Nations League campaign next month.
The Three Lions have fixtures away to Hungary and Germany, and then at home to Italy and Hungary. Their first game, in Budapest on Saturday 4 June, is behind closed doors, as is their home fixture with Italy at Molineux on 11 June.
Mount is the most capped of the trio, with 27 England games and four goals. James has been capped 10 times for his country, and Gallagher, who had a successful season on loan at Crystal Palace, has been capped three times since making his Three Lions debut.
Of course, there was no call-up for Ben Chilwell who’s just making a return from injury and also Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
