It was a tight clash at the Wembley Stadium, as Chelsea played out a goalless draw with Liverpool in the final of the FA Cup.
Both teams matched each other on the night, with Chelsea going on to lose the tie on penalty shootout.
It was a fine midfield battle, as Thomas Tuchel started Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic in the middle of the park.
Kovacic was a doubt ahead of the final, and Jurgen Klopp has admitted he was surprised to see the Croatian play the game.
“It’s a bit of a surprise [Kovacic starting],” Klopp told ITV before kick-off.
“I heard in the press conference there might be a chance. I saw that tackle and the red card for Leeds and didn’t think he could make it.
“Good for him that he could do it. That was a surprise. But apart from that, no, [it’s] the line-up we expected.”
