Report: Player has asked to return home

Reports from Spain claims that Marcos Alonso is keen on a return to his homeland, Spain.

Alonso has spent six years at the club where he has excelled as a left wing-back.

According to Sport, Marcos Alonso will ask to leave the club in the coming days.

Alonso has a year left on his contract with the club, and Chelsea will be sure to negotiate a transfer fee for the 31-year-old.

Thomas Tuched had also confirmed that club captain Cesar Azpilicueta is keen on a return to Spain, with Barcelona also targeting the Spaniard.
