The club is set to tie down their futures, with Mount having two years left in his deal while James who’s being targeted by Real, has three years left.
According to a report by The Times, it claims that James and Mount want to learn about the club’s future plans under the new owners before they sign extensions at Stamford Bridge.
The pair contributed 16 goals and 19 assists between them in the Premier League this season – highlighting their importance to the team.
Mount has been rumoured to be a target of Manchester City, while Real Madrid have been long admirers of Reece James.
